Kristin and Cory are seasoned performers and songwriters. In addition to their many years experience as songwriters they are also models. They travel the world modeling lingerie and performing at promotional shows around the world. They are literally traveling every week of the year. Their musical energy grabs you right away. They go for broke on each track they record. What makes dynamic duo such a great act is they perform their original material at their modeling and promotional gigs. How can you beat that? You don't. Here's our interview below:

SongwriterPro: So you two are from Wisconsin?

Cory: Yes but we get booked all the time so we fly a lot. For instance, Aqua Cabanna in Las Vegas flew us out for a photo shoot. That was a great gig. It's beautiful in Mexico. Soon, we are moving to Las Vegas and then to California.

SongwriterPro: Vegas is a great city, you could commute like you are now...

Kristin: We are very fortunate to be able to travel around the country performing shows and writing music!

SongwriterPro: Since you are both twins, does one of you initiate an idea and then the other follows?

Kristin: You've probably heard and read stories about twins, and it's true! (Laughs) We both come up with ideas and then the other one compliments the idea. Its really to the coolest thing. We both have the same mindset so if Cory has an idea then I know immediately where she is going. But we are really critical of each other. A lthough we don't take is personally because we know it's going to somewhere good. We don't really clash when we write, we really compliment each other.

Cory: You knows what funny, is when I'm writing and singing, is that Kristin does more of the melody and I do more of the lyrics. We do both melody and lyrics but I would say I write more lyrics.

SongwriterPro: What's the process when you go to the studio...

Kristin: We have all the tracks ready when we get to the studio; there are musicians and engineers there that helps us with the technical aspects of recording our music. We have our own little method of doing.

SongwriterPro: Your songs are very well produced, are you getting any airplay?

Cory: Thank you! We are getting tons of airplay on college stations around the country. Currently we have over 36,000 MySpace friends and we are contacted by many writers to do collaborations. College radio wants to hear new artists so that works well for us.

Kristin: Also, when we perform live we do it with tracks. We don't use a live band. We would really like to eventually have a live band but for right now this is ok. It's a lot of fun! (Laughs)

SongwriterPro: Where have you been performing lately...

Cory: We just flew back from Mexico. We performed on the cruise ship and did some modeling too! It's very to be both the models and the artist. Before that we flew to Reno, Nevada. There was a Blackjack and Texas Hold'em show.

Kristin: Our mother flies with us too. She's our agent and manager. Being young ladies that we are it isn't to travel alone. It's a lot of hard work but its fun too.

SongwriterPro: Well, you get to make money and it's like a family vacation!

Kristin: It's wonderful and a lot of fun.

SongwriterPro: What's taking you the Bahama's this year...

Cory: Yes! We are doing a lingerie show and also the performing artist. We are one of the chosen girls for "Racy Girl" lingerie, it's a new line of clothing coming out which we will represent.

SongwriterPro: How are you able to work your original music into your modeling shows...

Kristin: There's a distinction between the modeling shows and the promotional models With the modeling gigs we are able to bring our music and perform on stage while wearing clothing that fits the theme of that show. With the promotional modeling gigs we don't usualy perform our must at those shows. Currently, we promote over 80 products. What gives us the inside track is that most models are not performers, singers and songwriters. It's like a snowball effect. Once we get to a gig and play and model, other agents approach us about representing their products. It's a great situation to be in!

Cory: It is great to be able to perform our own songs. We don't call ourselves models. We are songwriters first. But we want to look great too!

SongwriterPro: Do you sell your merchandise too?

Coery: We sell a lot of stuff on our MySpace page. We just did a calendar and it is selling very well.

Kristin: We just did a Harley Davison calendar shoot in Milwaukee and that should be available later this year. This business is so huge why not get our fingers into everything, you know?

SongwriterPro: The money is in the merchandise, as you already know. Are you happy with things are going now or are you looking for a label.

Cory: We are a little leary about signing on with anyone right now. We have had so much success doing what we've been doing, why change it! (Laughs) It doesn't seem like the record companies are really for us, the artist.

SongwriterPro: I would have to say you have the right business plan...Do you think the Internet has made music a whole new ballgame?

Kristin: It's a great networking that we can do ourselves. It's all about being consistent.

SongwriterPro: You were saying you have some new songs you are taking to the studio soon?

Cory: We are very excited. We have different producers with each song style. Each producer has a different feel for differnt songs.

Kristin: We record most of our music on Edison Street in Chicago. They are a great bunch of people.

SongwriterPro: Where is all of this heading to...

Cory: We feel it's just getting started. We don't want to stop!'

Kristin: We've been doing this for five years now and it just seems to get bigger.

SongwriterPro: Well, I have to give it to you, you are both the total package. Congratulations on your future sucesses. Thank you so much for taking time with us here at SongwriterPro.com

Cory: Come by and see us soon! Take care!

Kristin: Thank you so much for this opportunity. We love what you are doing! See you soon!
